There were some amazing couture shows last week in Paris, but a few stand out among the rest.
3. ZUHAIR MURAD

Zuhair Murad is quickly becoming one of my favorite designers. Earlier this year, his S/S 26 collection, Renaissance Woman, featured goddess-queen bejeweled confections straight from the heavenly realms. This time around, the theme (questionably named Heroine Chic) is subtler and the color palette and shine more subdued.

2. ASHI STUDIO

I believe some of the best designs have a little bit of ugly in them—the right amount of a little bit of ugly. Torn and distressed fabrics; untamed hems; asymmetric silhouettes; and always that element of surprise. Ashi Studio strikes the right balance in this show, aptly called The Wild Hunt.
❤️🔥1. RAHUL MISHRA

MY. JAW. DROPPED when I first looked through this collection. I mean, the artistry and attention to detail. What vision and remarkable execution!! I’m putting aside my Christian impulses, haha, and applauding Mishra’s multi-headed, multi-faceted presentation titled Devi.
Bravo.
